Terms and conditions for users

In these terms and conditions, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Sustainable Homes Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 03803995 whose registered office is at Marina House, 17 Marina Place, Hampton Wick, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 4BH and "you" and "your" refer to the person accessing the site (as defined below). By using or accessing the site in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms.

These terms and conditions govern your use of and access to the Green Pages section of the Sustainable Homes website at www.sustainablehomes.co.uk/greenpages ("the site"). If you do not agree with these T&Cs in full, you must not access or use the site in any way. If you do access the site, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms.

We reserve the right to make changes to the site, our policies and these terms at any time. You will be subject to the policies and terms in force at the time that you use the site, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it may apply with retrospective effect). If any of these terms is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining term.

Information on the site

1. The site is provided for information purposes only. We do not review advertisers' listings or content and are not involved in any transactions between buyers and sellers. We have no control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of products or services advertised, the truth or accuracy of descriptions, the ability of sellers to sell items, the ability of buyers to pay for items, or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction.
2. You use the site, and rely on any information provided on it (whether by us or any third party), including by entering into any agreement or contract with any advertiser identified on or through the site, at your own risk and you agree to make such further checks and enquiries as may be relevant in the circumstances.
3. Commentary and other content posted on the site are for information only and are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. We shall bear no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage incurred or suffered by you arising out of, in connection with or pursuant to any arrangement you make with any third party following your use of the site or our services or in relying on any content on the site.

The use of the site is at your own risk and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage that might occur, howsoever arising, as a result of your use of or reliance upon the information contained on the site.

Code for Sustainable Homes

6. Where certain products on the site are indicated with a "green star", this means that we have been advised [(by the relevant advertiser)] that such products have been used in [at least one property][properties] which [has][have] met the Code for Sustainable Homes (the Code) as in force at the time of the relevant Code inspection. This does not mean that using or incorporating such products into a property will enable such property to be certificated as compliant with the Code. You acknowledge and agree that there are other factors which may also affect whether any development meets the Code and we make no guarantees, representations or warranties, on our own behalf or on behalf of any third party, that (1) the relevant product has been used in property that has met the Code, and (2) using the relevant product in any property will enable that property to meet the Code.

Our liability

7. We (including our affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees) shall not be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any business losses, such as loss of data, profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, reputation or business interruption arising, directly or indirectly, out of your use of or your inability to use the site and any services provided on or through it.
8. 8 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to or shall operate to exclude our liability for death or personal injury, fraud or fraudulent representation or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Points to note

9. We make every effort to ensure that the site is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of the site or any websites accessible through it will not cause damage to your computer or otherwise. Nor do we guarantee that use of the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure and/or error free. 12. These terms are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to or negotiation of these terms.
