Code for Sustainable Homes Awareness Training

Awareness Raising Training - One Day Course 

Increase your understanding of the requirement of the Code for Sustainable Homes on this CPD accredited course.  If you are a housing association this training helps you to identify an outline action plan for preparing for the 2008-11 Housing Corporation National Affordable Housing Programme.  If you are a developer, designer or architect it provides a useful overview of the requirements of the Code.  It also acts as a team building exercise for development teams. 

Key areas covered:

  • A detailed insight into Code level 3 – the minimum requirement for affordable housing.
  • Workshops on water and ecology credit areas, and scoring to level 3.
  • The Code assessment process.
  • The main differences to the EcoHomes standard.
  • key issues of compliance.
  • Indicative costs.
