Housing stock assessement

As landlords aim to better understand fuel poverty and carbon emissions of their stock and the most cost-effective steps to improve these, Sustainable Homes and Parity projects offer a whole-stock carbon assessment which provides leading practical recommendations on how to improve both buildings and resident energy use and behaviour.

Outcome

  • Through the analysis of their stock, Staffordshire Housing Group was able to understand the impacts for residents and the financial implications for their investment plan with a variety of approaches.
  • Housing providers develop a better understanding of their stock’s current energy performance.

What clients say

The carbon assessment has given us a much better understanding of how to deal with our hard to treat stock both efficiently and cost-effectively. We are now in a position to translate our strategy for these properties into a deliverable programme, including how we might integrate funding from the Green Deal into our plans.
